And so it begins

I find myself sitting here at the computer in what can only be described as a horrible hour. It’s 4:00 am and I’ve been up since 3:00 am, although that’s 5:00 am to some and 12:00 pm for others. I’m not sure what prompted this early awakening; perhaps its madness or maybe it is excitement, nerves, or a combination of the 3.

My flight is scheduled to leave Minneapolis [at 7:24 am] bound for JFK with a 6-hour layover to make a connection with Amsterdam. But the fun doesn’t stop there, there’s a 3 hour lay over in Amsterdam before my final connection to Munich, Germany If it was more I could go out and see my family for a little while, but alas only 3 hours is not enough time to leave the airport.  Quite honestly, I think airlines should plan their flight schedules around my personal schedule. :)

On a trans-continental flight a passenger was sitting way back in Y class. As it was a meal flight, the flight attendants came by with the meal carts. The passenger was asked if he would like a meal. Being hungry he said, “sure, what are my choices?”. The flight attendant answered, “your choices are ‘yes’ or ‘no.'”
