I love nothing more than spending time at the airport just watching the planes coming and going. In the middle of the Black Hills of South Dakota lies one of the greatest US treasures: Mount Rushmore. Carved between the years of 1927 and 1941 by Danish-American Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln. Mount Rushmore features 60 foot high sculptures of four former US Presidents: George Washington (1732-1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) and Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865).

One of the most exciting reasons for going to Africa was for the chance to catch a glimpse of an elephant in the wild. Chobe National Park offers the visitor just that. Hundreds upon hundreds of elephants. This was one of the very first elephants I saw in the wild.
