Flight booked Sydney, AU to Christchurch, NZ

Today after much debating, I finally decided on the date I would fly from Sydney to New Zealand. In the end I decided to spend more time in New Zealand than in Australia. There were a number of flight choices that were quite attractive. The two that intrigued me the most were flying Emirates A380 or LAN A340. I have heard good things about Emirates, but in the end I chose LAN A340. Mostly because the A340 is a dying breed of planes and the A380 is still in its infancy and there are plenty of opportunities to fly one of the new behemouths in the sky. LAN will get me from Sydney to Auckland and then I will fly onwards to Christchurch with Jetstar Airways.
