Yesterday I logged into the website where I purchased my tickets to Australia and noticed something very odd. Apparently I was double-booked, from MSP to SFO AND from MSP to ORD to SFO. Confused much? Updated itinerary Apparently, United will be discontinuing daily service between MSP and SFO, so I was rerouted through ORD. The flight changes add about 6 hours of layovers and when I contacted the website where I purchased the tickets -- cheaptickets.com -- they indicated that I would have to pay a airline change fee between $150 and $300 AND a $50 rebooking fee in order…
